Our love story of Jackie and Brett begins at Brock University in Niagara. This is where our bride and groom met and fell in love. When Brett proposed to Jackie, plans for a “Mint to Be” wedding were soon under way, with accents of pale green, pink peonies and little touches of baby’s breath.
The day began with a warm sun and a gentle breeze. I started my day with the girls getting ready. The sweet sounds of Justin Timberlake rocking in the background, mimosas on the patio and Asian accent robes soon led me to believe, todays wedding was going to be so much fun. Amongst the centre of all the attention, oddly enough, was the brides dog Paulo. Paulo, was busy soaking up kisses from the ladies left and right, of course saving his most slobbery ones for his beloved bride to be Jackie.
A couple of streets over was Renee, my second shooter, she was busy capturing the boys. From my understanding, the limo ride was the MOST entertaining portion of the morning, with even a possible pole dance or two. There may even be a picture of said pole dance, but you’ll have to ask the bride to see these photos, their for her eyes only!
A traditional catholic ceremony at The St Catharines Cathedral took place, with formal photography at The Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls.
A cocktail service began the festivities at Club Roma in St Catharines. Guests enjoyed open bar service, resting beverages on the cute and quirky custom made coasters “She had me at Hola.” Chivari chairs and lace linens adorned the tables with draping floral centrepieces and candelabras. Guests also enjoyed an open photo booth and a photo frame gift favour for thanking them for attending the couples affair. Sentimental speeches, a few “toasts”, and many good laughs followed throughout dinner. The dance floor opened up with sweet latino sounds of the Gypsy Kings. Friends and family of the bride show cased their latino roots with the salsa, mambo and tango. The floor was alive with passion and party.
Thank you Jackie and Brett. It was a true honour to share your wedding day with you. I wish you many happy years together.
All my love,
Thank you, as always, to my second photographer Renee of Renee Samantha Photography.
