Holly and Dans love story is like one out of a romance novel. Boy travels to the other side of the world, boy meets BEAUTIFUL woman, they fall in love and they both live happily ever after! SIGH. Dan, our groom, travelled to England a few years back to travel for adventure and work in his field of teaching. A friend once joked with him “What if you met the woman of your dreams there?” Well, said Dan at his speech at their wedding, this is what would happen if I met the woman of my dreams in England.
Over the past year I have had the pleasure of getting to know the lovely Dan and Holly, and they are simply darling. Soft and sweet, Holly with her adorable British Accent and Dan with his charming good looks were a dream to work with!
Our wedding day began at the homes of the bride and groom, preparation well underway. Ceremony to follow at the Holy Rosary Church, was absolutely beautiful. We then travelled to Queenston Heights for bridal party images. Mother nature threatened rain with black clouds, thunder and lightening, but lucky for us not even a drop of rain fell from the sky.
A celebration like no other then took place at the always spectacular John Michaels banquet hall. Food for miles, draped over the antipasto buffet, while guests greeted the newlyweds to sparkling glasses of champagne.
There was no need to ever get too comfortable in your seat, an exciting “New York Style” dinner dancing was provided by the always entertaining Dynamic Entertainment. The party lasted well into the evening with traditional Italian Folk dances, 50s style be-bopping and lots of pop hits of today!
Congratulations Holly and Dan, thank you for sharing you STUNNING day with me. I wish you both many more adventures in love and happiness.
